In May 2018 Harlow Council published a ‘Pre-Submission Local Development Plan’ which relates to the district and provides a strategy for delivering growth for Harlow up to 2033. The Plan sets out a vision for the future development of Harlow. This includes how many new homes are needed and where development will take place.
Today, Wednesday 4 July, HAP delivered to the Civic Offices it’s response to Harlow Council’s Local Plan Pre-submission consultation document. HAP believes the Plan is unsound for a number of reasons.
With it’s response went two petitions objecting to changing the status of 8 sites from green field and play areas to new housing areas. A total of 383 residents signed these petitions.
